Congratulations and commiserations in order for Mayobridge muse

Competitors so thankful to everyone who has supported them throughout this incredible journey,
CONGRATULATIONS and commiserations are in order for Mayobridge Muse Naomi Gribben.
Young Miss Gribben, who in conjunction with her singing partner Caleb Kirwan were afforded the honour to represent Ireland in this year's Junior Eurovision Song Contest, have come joint 13th in the prestigious singing competition .
Naomi beat out other home grown talent in the Irish preliminaries to earn her place on stage in this year's contest which was held in Malta.
This came with the unique twist that she would be performing as part of a duet alongside Dublin born Caleb Kirwan.
Although both Naomi and Caleb would do all within their ability to ensure their home country would beat out the competition , regrettably the title of Junior Eurovision song contest winner would go to 13-year-old competitor Naré, from Armenia.
However in spite of this Naomi's mother Lorna was keen to share in the fact that both Naomi and Caleb are just grateful to have been given the chance to represent Ireland in Malta stating that both her daughter and musical contemporary have forged many memories and friendships that will las them both a lifetime.
“Naomi is incredibly proud of both herself and Caleb” said Lorna. “They are both so grateful to have been given this once in a lifetime opportunity."
"The whole experience has been absolutely amazing, filled with unforgettable memories, wonderful moments and , most importantly friendships that will last a lifetime.
"They are both so thankful to everyone who has supported them throughout this incredible journey, sent lovely messages, cheered them on and taken the time to vote for them.
The love and encouragement they have received has meant more to them than words can ever express.
"They are coming away with memories, experiences and friendships they will treasure forever.
"We honestly could not be prouder of them.”
“They represented Ireland with pride, gave it their all and enjoyed every minute of this amazing adventure.”
"Lorna concluded by issuing a heartfelt thank you to any and all those who helped Naomi through this most wonderous but taxing time of her life.
"A massive heartfelt thank you to everyone who has been part of their journey . Your support has meant the absolute world to them."
